trying to keep it all together...

I am so ridiculously stressed out right now....
first of all, can I just say how much I DESPISE stage management??? Well, actually I suppose it's not so bad if that is the only thing you are doing...but really, its pretty bad on top of everything else I am supposed to do. I feel as if I never do anything right...and I am just trying my hardest to be a good stage manager but things like taping out the set correctly seem to just make me want to pull my hair out! =[

Also, it is tech for Situations(Robin's freestage) which, surprisingly, is turning out ALOT better and less stressful than I anticipated! It goes up Monday, so after that, it will be nice to not have to worry about another freestage!

There are so many other things that are stressors in my life right now... Once on this island...Machinal tech week coming up...general auditions in like TWO WEEKS. (RIDICULOUS!)...composition...Meisner!...and the list goes on.

I just can't wait until the semester is over so I can breathe again.

HELLO, kitty.

No words. Just pictures.

New hair!

So I got a new memory card today... which means that I am able to put up pictures of my new hair! I absolutely love it. I just feel so much fresher and prettier, and I feel like I have more of a unique look instead of the ho-hum average.
Yay!

life as of late.

So finally, I am on spring break! It is pretty great, actually. Life has been a little crazy at school, although it slowed down a bit after Kapow...
but anyways, I am doing good.
I just got my hair dyed today- it is an almost black/very dark brown, and lots of layers, ala katy perry . I am having camera issues, so I do not have any pictures to post but when I get it straightened out, I will definitely take some! =]

I really love it, though. It is almost like a new persona. With my blonde hair I was starting to feel really dull, blah, and bland like I blended in with everyone else. But now I feel exciting! Idk if that makes any sense, lol. But yeah. I feel like I stand out, and I love it. Now, I REALLY can't wait until I can chop it all off... oh but the theatre controls my soul so therefore I cannot. I don't know if I posted this but I am in Once On This Island, and I am playing Andrea Devereux... I'm pretty excited about it. My new haircolor definitely makes me look like an islander, that's for sure! haha. Now for the tan... :P
So in my previous blog I was talking about how much I loved Etsy.com...well I made a few purchases...but I did not spend over $20 on everything combined so that is pretty amazing!
First of all I bought these Gummi Bear Earrings:
They are just too adorable. I could not pass them up! haha.
I also got this adorable purple choker for literally a DOLLAR. can you believe it? I just think it's so cute and spring-y!

Then...for the ultimate hair accessory for any Hello Kitty fanatic like me... the HELLO KITTY HAIRBOW BARRETTE.... it is made to look exactly like the bow Hello Kitty wears! I could not believe it when I saw it, lol. It is pretty much wonderful.

Oh and I also am going to start to try using twitter.... follow me!

Etsy!

I just have to say that I have been looking around on etsy.com lately, and I have just found the most adorable things.

For anyone that has not visited it, you NEED to! It is made up of a bunch of homemade sellers of jewelry/clothes/bags/etc. Each piece is one of a kind, and there are so many different kinds of sellers out there!

From the seller CuteAbility comes these adorable and very realistic food-related jewelry items:

The sushi lovers necklace
The black forest cake ring

The orange halves earrings for $12
From the seller UntamedMenagerie comes these adorable and beautiful carved necklaces around $20 each:
A pretty vintage scarf from Boutiquebelle is only $14!
Some other favorite sellers of mine are Tijusai for flowered items like brooches/chokers, and Lieblingsdesigns.

Of course there are other sellers that make custom dresses/etc. and they are too expensive for a poor college kid like me to afford, like RubyPearl who makes these gorgeous corset-dresses for around $200, and funky necklaces for around $40.
