....wow.
So I've just completed my first week of school and I am beat.
I can tell it's going to be one of THOSE semesters if you know what I mean. Yeah. Those semesters where I will no doubt blog something like "I'm so overwhelmed!" at some point. But it happens.
I think I'm just really tired because of Spelling Bee rehearsals mainly, so when that's over with I'm sure it will be a little bit better...
Speaking of, I'm really enjoying getting to know the show, we've finally blocked the whole thing and it feels pretty good. I'm loving my part and really sinking my teeth into the whole thing. It's tiresome for my voice, however. It's a vocally demanding show, especially for me as I'm blowing out high G's and A's all over the place, but as long as I take care of myself I will be fine! It just means no going to places where people are smoking heavily, and just staying hydrated and healthy.
Speaking of being healthy, I've been going to the gym almost everyday and I am already starting to see some results! I feel so much better, and you will never believe that I am waking up at like 6:45 some days to go before class, but I am, and I have already lost a few pounds in a week or so. I'm not really out on this mission to lose all this weight, but I know that I have put on some extra weight this summer especially, and it's just like "soft around the edges" weight, nothing really substantial. I just want to be really toned mainly and get my body in gear for whenever I graduate! Seeing as I have this membership for the year that I am paying for, it will really motivate me to continue to go which is nice, and I can also go to all the gyms in the area which is super convenient once my schedule allows for me to take some more classes!
I just want to be in the best shape of my life when I graduate! It helps that school starts when it comes to eating right too, because I just pack all my food for the whole day basically. And when I only pack healthy things, that's what I eat! Also, if I'm in a real bind, the Market on broadway now has all these yummy healthy things like Amy's organic meals and tons of new healthy stuff that I can eat! :) It makes me very happy to see that.
But anyways, I'm excited for what the semester has in store. I'm still waiting to hear back from the Springer regarding HSM casting, but as far as I know they are still in the process, so who knows. If that doesn't work out, it's just opening a way for something else to work out so I'm not that worried.
I'm just staying positive in general and trying to make it through this last year until I finally get to really live my life! Can't wait! :)

Back to the grind!
So long, summer!
I've enjoyed you, but it is time to say goodbye.
So this week I have already started rehearsals for "The 25th Annual Putnam Co. Spelling Bee." So far it has been a very pleasant process, even if the rehearsals have been long and tiresome...(1-6 every day, with barely any breaks usually.)
But it has been nice to actually have a great role and to be able to sing alot as well as work on character stuff! I can tell this show is going to be great. The cast is alot of fun to work with, and everything seems pretty pleasant. I love working with Michael, too!
Before Spelling Bee started I visited Augusta for about a week. It was alot of fun, I got to see my uncle from Germany that I haven't seen in about 6 years, and just do fun stuff like go shopping with my mom and hang out with friends and things. To be honest, it may be one of the last times I even visit Augusta, as I found out my Stepdad may be accepting a job in St. Petersburg, FL. But that is not set in stone- he just applied for it. But it seems as if he has the qualifications and it is a definite possibility. That is weird to think about as Augusta has pretty much always been my home base and all, but it would be kind of cool too! (Just a longer drive though- ugh.)
But in other news of my life, I joined Gold's Gym yesterday! And I went on "Open House" so I got the enrollment fee waived which is very, very nice...
But anyways I joined the Gold's Gym on Veterans near Moon Rd...and the facilities there are amazing. It's HUGE...and there are so many machines and even a "cardio cinema" Where they play a different movie everyday on loop in a dark room with large TV screens and treadmills and cardio machines so you can go in and watch a movie while you workout! haha. And I can go to any Gold's gym in the area as well as Fitness for Women, which is nice when I don't feel like getting creeped on by guys as that tends to happen at gyms. But the best part is that I can use all their classes too, so I can just pick and choose from whichever fits my schedule. I LOVE classes at gyms, as they really motivate me and I love to be pushed by an ACTUAL person, ya know? Plus there are fun classes like ZUMBA (Which is so incredibly fun) and Kickboxing and things like that.
I'm really focusing on using this last year before I move to really better myself in many ways- being fit is one of them. Now I know I'm not necessarily overweight or anything like that, I just want to be in great shape. And I have gained a little bit of weight during the summer that I need shed! Haha. But I'm sure that if I continue this membership (which I will,) until next summer- there is NO WAY I won't be in the best shape of my life. Seeing as last summer I had a FREE membership and went all the time for a few months and lost weight and felt great. So I know that if I'm paying I will find a way to fit it in almost everyday. I mean...it's open 24 hours! haha.
In other theatrical news, I received another callback from the Springer that is going to be this Saturday! Wee! It is exciting to be considered for both of the female leads there. I really had a great time working there on "Peter Pan," and it would be a really great experience and credit on my resume as well! So that is cool. :)
Friday is theatre convo. I can't wait to see all the fresh meat in the theatre department! Bwahaha! haha. No but really...it's extremely bizarre to think that I will be a Senior this year at Convo... very weird.
I'm not really ready for all my classes to start yet to be honest, but let's hope I'm ready by Monday! Ha!
BTW: If you are in the mood for something delicious- you NEED to stop by Chill frozen yogurt beside Smoothie King and Subway in the Whittlesey shopping center. (Its on the side where Bed Bath & Beyond is.) It is just amazing. It's a self-serve frozen yogurt place with so many great toppings and you pay by weight so it's really up to you how much it costs. My favorite thing to get is half vanilla/half strawberry with gummi bears, sprinkles, capn crunch berries, and fruity pebbles.... that is when I'm feeling "bad!" haha. They also have fruit and things.. and then chocolately toppings if you're into that sort of thing. But yeah. I'm pretty much obsessed with it and think about going there all the time but I usually can fight it off. But not every time...
